I just visited my activity monitor and noticed that Google Chrome used 1GB of ram. This seem like quite a lot for a simple browser.

I am actually quite surprised that Google would allow this. Seems like a load for someone that does not have much RAM to spare. With all the process and going one during one day, it’s a wonder that I allow Google to hijack my RAM like this.
What was Safari’s usage? About 200 MB.
Sure Google, Chrome is awesome, but so is a tank.
