I Ive said it many times before, I simply love Spotify. I listen to it everyday at iThemes, in the car and at the gym. I’ve even created a customized Growl application to work seamlessly with Spotify.
However, there are some things about Spotify that simply drive me crazy. This is why I have put together a list of things that I believe should be Spotify defaults.
- Search by Genre.
For a music streaming service, one would expect this built into the application (I use Spotify premium). - Play History.
More than once I have found myself wanting to go back to a song I listened to a couple days ago. I think play (editable) history needs to be on the Spotify road map. - Bookmarks for Later Listening
How many times have you found a song on Spotify and wished you could listen to later? Of course you can create a playlist for later listening (that’s what I’ve done), but bookmarks seem a more viable option.
What are some of the things you like or dislike about Spotify?
you can link your spotify to a last.fm account and that will show you your history… figured it might help.
Never thought about that. What a wonderful idea. However, as a paid user of Spotify, I do (and always will) expect more.
