1Password Fullscreen Mode in OS X Lion

If you’re like me, then you love Lion and 1Password, but you wish you could have 1Password as fullscreen mode. After all, what better way to hide your most sensitive data in its own space. When Maximizer for Lion was released, I thought all my troubles had ceased. I was wrong.

Maximizer is awesome and I do thank Grant very much for creating an awesome plugin for toggling apps in fullscreen. The only problem is this adds fullscreen for ALL apps. Is Grant to blame for this? No. Not at all. It would require too much work on his part to determine each and every app used by individuals.

The beauty of Maximizer is that it’s customizable. One can easily modify the Maximizer.bundle to work with only a specific application. With 1Password, I’ve done just that.

You can download the .zip file here.

To use Maximizer-1Password, you have to install SIMBL and then put Mazimizer-1Password.bundle inside ~/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins (or in the same folder in /, if you want it globally available). Read the SIMBL website if you get confused.
